How Vortex Auto Tuning collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website or buy from us.

This Privacy Policy applies to vortextuning.co.za and purchases/services from Vortex Auto Tuning. It is separate from Google’s privacy policy (which only covers Google services such as reCAPTCHA on this site).

1. Information we collect

Identity & contact: name, email, phone number, billing/shipping address.
Order & vehicle: products ordered, vehicle make/model/engine notes you provide, workshop booking details.
Account: login details if you create a shop account.
Payment: payment is processed by third-party gateways (for example card processors or Payflex). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Technical: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and similar analytics/security data (including via cookies and reCAPTCHA).
Communications: emails, WhatsApp or form messages you send us.

2. How we use your information

To process and fulfil orders, collections, deliveries and refunds.
To book and perform workshop work and provide after-sales support.
To send order confirmations, shipping updates and respond to enquiries.
To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
To improve the shop experience (aggregated analytics).
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Legal bases (POPIA)

We process personal information as needed to perform a contract with you, comply with law, pursue legitimate business interests (such as security and customer support), and where you consent (for example optional marketing).

Payment providers (including Payflex where you choose that option).

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above (including invoice retention periods). We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No online transmission is completely secure.

8. Children

Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the update date.
