Q – Why do you need it?
A – When you want to run higher power, you need more boost to supply more air/oxygen. With this increase in air you will need an increase in fuel supply. If you don’t increase fuel supply, you will run lean and burn the pistons.The Standard high pressure fuel pump is very limited in fuel supply, hence we use the Vortex HPFP upgrade kit to increase pressures by over 60%. Now with lots more fuel you can run lots more boost safely.

Q – Why do you need it?
A – To keep up with high fuel demands of the HpFp for high boost levels the Low pressure fuel pump needs to supply a lot more fuel faster. This is an impossible task for a standard 2.0 TFSI pump. We have retrofitted the standard pump with the all powerful RS6 V10 pump with our upgraded fuel controller to supply the higher current demands.
